Forgive the Slashdot link, but I couldn’t resist commenting.
This is so fucking brilliant. Imagine the storm of exploits that are going to be unleashed on the massive installed base. And afterwards, people can have no excuse the closed source is more secure than open source because you can’t find the exploits.
I mean, this is gonna suck for a while (and Sendmail has been through it’s share on this), but in the end things will improve for the better. Unless, as my friend suggested:
